John Michael Ferrari’s “Love Is”: The Journey Toward a Grammy® Nomination
By eZWay News
John Michael Ferrari’s “Love Is” album is under consideration for the 2027 Grammy® Awards in the Best Contemporary Country Album category. Nominations will be announced November 16, 2026. The goal now is to introduce the music to more listeners and encourage Recording Academy voting members to evaluate it for a possible nomination.
Why “Love Is” Deserves a Listen
Produced by longtime collaborator Pepper Jay, “Love Is” explores the emotional territory of relationships: affection, longing, commitment, loss, remembrance, and hope.
Those themes offer a natural foundation for country music. Ferrari’s focus on shared experiences gives listeners a way into his work, while the album format allows him to explore love from more than one perspective.
“Love Is” received Best Country Album at the Clouzine International Music Awards, Fall 2026.
This achievement provides a reason to discover the album and assess its merits. A Grammy® nomination remains the next aspiration.
An Artist Who Values Connection
Ferrari is a singer-songwriter, entertainer, composer, and arranger whose influences span country, pop, adult contemporary, jazz, and blues. His guiding philosophy—“There’s never a stranger in the audience”—reflects his desire to connect through performance.
His work extends to teaching and mentoring. Ferrari and Pepper Jay co-authored Dynamic Song Performance, The Singer’s Bible, and support emerging singer-songwriters. He also authored Acting with Your Eyes.
That commitment to both creating and sharing his craft gives audiences a fuller picture of the artist behind “Love Is.”
Help the Music Reach New Listeners
The next chapter for “Love Is” is still being written. Music lovers can listen to the album, share it with their communities, and introduce it to Recording Academy voting members they know.
Voting members are invited to listen and evaluate the album on its artistic and technical merits for Best Contemporary Country Album consideration. A nomination would be a future achievement; the campaign is about earning that opportunity.
