The Book Crawl Went Live in New York & Mystic, Connecticut: Creating Community Through Stories
This past weekend, The Book Crawl hit the road — from the vibrant energy of New York City to the beautiful charm of Mystic, Connecticut — and what unfolded was so much more than a series of interviews.
It became a community.
Six incredible authors came together through The Book Crawl experience to share their books, their voices, their journeys, and the deeper meaning behind their work. But beyond the cameras, the social media clips, and the beautiful locations, something even more powerful happened: connection.
Authors often spend so much of their journey creating alone. Writing alone. Editing alone. Marketing alone. Trying to figure out visibility, promotion, and the next right step alone.
This weekend was a reminder that authors were never meant to do it all alone.
Through conversations, behind-the-scenes moments, shared stories, and real-life connection, The Book Crawl created a space where authors could feel seen, supported, and celebrated — not just as writers, but as people with powerful messages to share.
That is the heart of what I am building.
The Book Crawl is not only about interviews. It is about creating a community where authors can come together, lift one another up, gain visibility, and move their stories from the page to the people.
With the power of social media, these moments now have the opportunity to travel further — reaching new readers, new audiences, and new communities who may need the wisdom, imagination, healing, or inspiration inside these books.
New York and Mystic, Connecticut gave us more than beautiful backdrops. They gave us connection, collaboration, laughter, visibility, and a beautiful reminder that when authors come together, stories rise.
Every story is worth savouring.
